Volunteers in MississaugaWater Docs is a documentary film festival about all things water. We screen both feature and short films about water, and hold discussions with directors and other guest speakers. Not only does the festival inform and educate about water and water issues, we provide a channel for action. This year’s Water Docs is from March 22 – 26 at Daniels Spectrum (585 Dundas Street East).

We are currently accepting volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds to help with these tasks:

  • Box Office
  • Greeters & Ticket Takers
  • Ushers & Mic Runners
  • Sales
  • Experienced Event Photographers
  • VIP Guest Assistants
  • Stage Hands
  • Info Table

The time commitments are the afternoon and evening timeslots for the dates you can attend. We also ask that you attend a volunteer training session the week before the festival. We encourage volunteering on a few of the days/times if your schedule permits!

Submit your application to volunteer by completing the form. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch shortly with pertinent information.

As a charitable organization, Ecologos would not be able to offer the Water Docs Film Festival without the commitment of our volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for the time and energy our volunteers have provided us to make Water Docs a reality.

If you have any questions about volunteering at Water Docs, please email our Volunteer Coordinator.
